What this site stores on your device, and how to change your mind about it

Effective date: October 21, 2026

This document is published in English, and the English text is the authoritative version.

1. What this page covers

This page lists everything this website stores on your device or reads back from it: cookies, and entries in your browser's local storage. It forms part of our privacy policy, and it is where the consent banner sends you.

2. What is stored before you decide

Three entries, and none of them measures you: the record of your own consent decision, and the two that remember which of English, German and Italian you are reading in, one as a cookie the server reads on your next request and one in local storage for the parts of the page rendered in your browser. Nothing else is written to your device, and no analytics tag and no marketing tag is loaded until you accept in the banner. Declining is a decision too, and it is stored the same way so you are not asked again on every page.

3. Analytics

Once you accept analytics we load Google Analytics, which counts visits and page views under a pseudonymous identifier, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are actually used as session replays and heatmaps so we can see where the site is confusing rather than only how many people left. We also publish measurement tags through Google Tag Manager, which is a container rather than a tag: it sets no cookie of its own, which is why it has no row in the table below, and anything we publish into it is disclosed here in the same release. Each of these is loaded only where it is configured for this site, and never before you accept.

4. Marketing

The marketing category covers one tag, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which measures which LinkedIn campaigns lead to a visit and lets LinkedIn show our ads to people who have been here. It loads only after you enable marketing in the preference panel, and only where it is configured for this site. Accepting analytics does not switch it on, and enabling marketing does not switch analytics on. We do not sell what you do here, and we build no advertising profile outside LinkedIn's own system.

5. Anti-spam on the forms

Google reCAPTCHA runs on the contact, start a project, careers, integration request and newsletter forms, to tell a person from a bot. It is requested the moment you touch a form and not before, and the forms cannot be protected without it, so it is not covered by the analytics toggle. Google sets its own cookie for it, under its own domain and its own policy.

6. Error monitoring

Where a collector is configured for a deployment we report JavaScript errors to a Grafana Faro collector we run ourselves, so a broken page is fixed rather than left in place. It receives the error message and stack trace the browser produced, the address of the page and the build the page came from. It is first party and self hosted, sets no cookie, carries no identifier and is not shared with an advertising network, so it runs on our legitimate interest in keeping the site working rather than on consent, and it has no row in the table below because it stores nothing on your device.

7. Your browser's own controls

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser, and that includes the record of your choice, so the banner will ask you again. Blocking all cookies in the browser is not how you switch this site's analytics off selectively: the control for that is the banner, and the button further down this page, which lets you answer analytics and marketing separately.

8. What this site stores

A third-party entry appears only once the tag that sets it has loaded, which happens only after you accept the matching category and only where that tag is configured for this site.

9. Change or withdraw your choice

The button below forgets the choice stored in your browser and brings the consent banner straight back on this page, so you can answer analytics and marketing again. Withdrawing consent stops anything further being loaded, but it does not undo measurement or advertising data collected while it was in force, and it affects nothing else on the site.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this page when what we store changes. The date at the top of the page is the date of the version you are reading. Where a change concerns something we load only with your consent, we ask for consent again rather than relying on the consent you gave for something else.
